Job Description
- Maintain a pleasant, patient, nurturing personality with a loving touch.
- Guide infants and toddlers through developmental activities and programs throughout the day.
- Be able to think on your feet and respond quickly to every infant’s and toddler’s needs effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate a patient and calm personality in a loving approach to every infant and toddler.
- Provide positive responses to the behavior and socialization interactions of the children.
- Build rapport, trust, and loving relationships with the children.
- Work closely with the director to adhere to the classroom guidelines.
- Notate and track infants’ and toddlers’ performance daily.
- Keep close communication with parents throughout the day.

Qualifications:
- Clear criminal record
- Physically able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Education
- Highschool or Equivalent (Preferred)
Experience
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
- CPR Certification Preferred

Prepare and cook breakfast, and lunch, and prepare afternoon snacks for all classrooms.
Serve meals to all classrooms on time, and at the appropriate temperature.
Work with staff to collect all present meal numbers before the preparation of each meal.
Prepare appropriate food portions for each classroom, with amounts meeting state-regulated nutrition guidelines.
Maintain daily production reports.
Maintain accurate inventory of food in and food out daily to assist with inventory tracking and food orders.
Turn in an inventory checklist daily to assist the director with orders and what needs replenishment in the pantry.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including food storage areas. (pantry)
ALWAYS wash hands when entering the kitchen before any food is prepared
Make sure all thermometers are working properly
Check expiration dates on food daily
Wash and sanitize all dishes
Clean the entire kitchen and appliances throughout the day
Sweep, Mop, and remove trash daily
Organize and put away all groceries, food orders, and non-food items
Protect the privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to families, children, team members, administration, and Board Directors.
Build positive relationships and communicate in a respectful manner with families, children, team members, administration, the Board of Directors, and the communities in which we serve.
